The Tunze Osmolator, the popular automatic water top off device is expected to receive a few upgrades later this year. Specifically one of the biggest complaints, if not the only one of this popular device is attaching the sensors into a sump system. Tunze, which listens to customer feedback is releasing a unique magnet system in which the magnets will be used to hold the sensors in place. There is a shield of some sort that deflects the magnetic field away from the sensors so that no interference reaches the sensors and registers a false positive. The new design is scheduled to ship in late September and the retail price isn’t expected to change by much, even with the euro hitting the way it has recently.
