AriadnaTech Diver Positioning System
AriadnaTech introduces a new sleek new Diver Positioning System that promises to be the underwater navigation technology for the future. We first wrote about Project Ariadna in 2016, in fact it was one of thefirst articlesI ever published on the site!
But all that aside, back in 2016 Ariadna was a personal underwater navigation system. and, with over 6 years of research and development, the team was in the midst of creating the first-ever wrist-worn underwater GPS device.
Now at DEMA we got our first look at this sophisticated device which comes in two parts. The Adriadna navigation system consists of a wrist unit, and a longer navigation transmitter that you wear on your leg.
腿上的发射器与您的手腕计算机通信,并实时跟踪您的动作。腕部单元在您潜水时以图形格式显示导航数据,并且每次潜水后都可以通过蓝牙上传到手机上。
A wireless radio frequency communication links these two devices underwater and connects with GPS at the surface to create an accurate dive profile. The Navigation Transmitter is responsible for all navigational calculations during the dive, and the Wrist Unit is used to display navigation data in graphical format. The unit can ever predict the path of satellites to ensure the most accurate GPS signable upon surfacing.
To complement its navigation technology, the system also features a dive computer functionality with an optional air-integration, however, this feature is not likely to be realized with the first production run and can be added later with a simple upgrade.
The Adriana is packed with some serious math and this advanced system deserves a closer look for any tech nerds. We spent 30 minutes speaking with the developers at the show and you can tell Adriana is built to the highest standards and we look forward to writing more about this product as it makes it way into the wrist and legs of divers.
Ariadna正在准备在2018年夏季在欧洲开始发行,您可以预计将为该包装支付约2000至2500美元。
