The MOAI is a brand new aquarium devices with incredibly promising potential. On the surface the MOAI appears to be an aquarium glass cleaning robot (that actually works) but this app-powered aquarium robot can also help monitor your aquarium too.
First of all, we’ve got to mention how cool the MOAI looks, the sleek circular shape and futuristic glowing LED ring makes the MOAI look like nothing else on our aquariums. It has a small, unobtrusive charging dock in one corner and it is paired up with a ring-shaped floating algae scrubbing magnet on the inside of the glass.
Aquarists are already well familiar with the concept of floating internal magnets but there’s a curious reason why the MOAI is shaped like a ring. On the dry side of the MOAI which hugs the glass, there is a built-in wireless camera which is specially designed for taking pictures of your aquarium from such a close vantage point.

Already the MOAI robotic aquarium glass cleaner is starting to look like a very promising device. What is most encouraging is the video demonstrations showing that the MOAI seems to trek across the aquarium with relative ease. Having an automatic aquarium glass cleaner that actually works is really cool but the ability to take pictures of your corals, fish and reef tank from anywhere is an exceptionally exciting feature.
Many robotic aquarium glass cleaning robots have come and gone, mostly gone, and they’ve fallen short of doing the job they were designed for. Even if the MOAI falls short of being a great algae cleaner, it can still function as a robotic webcam for our reef tanks, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the MOAI can live up to its promising spec sheet.
Moai机器人水族馆玻璃清洁剂将很快发起一项众筹活动,它将以100美元的价格预售,最终是$ 299的零售价。[[MOAI Devices]
