The Elos Colorimeter has been resurrected at MACNA 2015. It’s been more than six years since the原始ELOSLOLIMETER项目已关闭,但是随着电子产品变得更好,更便宜,更容易整合,ELOS重新审视了数字水测试概念。
The new Elos Colorimeter version 2.0 is a very simple well for water testing liquids which uses LEDs and a photo sensor to measure the color of the water test you happen to be performing with an Elos Water Analysis test kit. The model which Elos displayed at MACNA 2015 is currently compatible with Android smartphones, plugging into the USB base of a Samsung, for example, to draw both power and processing, and to give real feedback readout of your water quality.
值得信赖的色度计可以意味着sure the color of just about any color-sensitive test kit including ammonia, phosphateor nitrite as shown off here, but not for titrated tests like theElos magnesium water test. The image shows the Elos test in a vial but the real world test will be performed by placing the testing fluid directly in the Colorimeter to reduce any potential for errors that come from having glass and the opacity and reflection it may cause.
One cool feature of the Elos Colorimeter is that the smartphone app will be able to simply scan the side of the Water Analysis test it is performing, not only to know what element it is testing, but also to carry with it the latest batch and readout data necessary to make the test as accurate as possible. With so much of the functionality of the Elos colorimeter being borrowed from your existing smartphone we expect that it will be much more affordable than a standalone unit, and it will also be able to log and graph the chemical values of your tank while it is at it.
