The little strip ofBodianus sanguineusin the video above is among one of the rarest fish in the aquarium trade. Until about 10 years ago there existed only one image of a live specimen taken from a deepwater submersible at over 600 feet. The sunrise hogfish,Bodianus sanguineusis a resident of very deep Hawaiian reefs along with the other extremely rare yellow fin anthias,Odontanthias fuscipinnis, also featured in the video. The owner of this tank from Singapore probably has over $6000 invested in the two deepwater Hawaiian fish but what is the deal with theJohnrandallia nigrirostris哪个也住在这个坦克中?这个蝴蝶是新万博苹果一个Heniochuswannabe occuring in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and it is much less expensive than the other two. Don’t get us wrong, we love the cute little ‘El Barbero’ but there is such a price disparity between it and the other two fish it just makes you wonder. Follow the link for a couple more videos of the stunning Yellow Fin anthias, a deepwater Hawaiian endemic which is a relative of the Borbonius anthias.
