The Polyp & Ephyra Combo System is a very unique new product from the makers of theJelliquarium. The mere fact that the hobby is already moving beyond just keeping jellyfish to actually breeding them says a lot about how far we’ve come. The P&E design comes in two iterations: a completely self contained system and a drilled tank which is ready to plumb inline with an existing system. Both models feature a maternity chamber for sedentary polyps and a suspension chamber for free living ephyra or other pelagic critters. The maternity chamber is upstream from the suspension chamber so that freshly strobilated jellies can automatically make their way into the specially designed suspension chamber and the large area, fine filter screen will keep all your delicate, pelagic creatures where they belong in the suspension chamber. The P&E tank is also suitable for fish, coral and invertebrate spawn as well as some of the juveniles of smaler seahorse and pipefish species. The P&E Combo System includes a filtration area, pump and a well built water manifold for flow control whereas the P&E tank just has a drain area in the most downstream section of the tank.
